Pretty Little Liars
Based on a book, Pretty Little Liars follows four best friends (Spencer, Hanna, Aria & Emily) whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their queen bee, Alison. New Details Emerge About 'Ravenswood'
ABC Family will be creating a spin-off to 'Pretty Little Liars' later this year called 'Ravenswood.' The spin-off will directly spin out of the Halloween episode of 'Pretty Little Liars' and premiere soon after. 'Ravenswood' will be centered on a town near 'Pretty Little Liars' setting of Rosewood, the town of Ravenswood, which has been cursed for generations.

- In the book series, Alison's disappearance takes place the summer before the girls went into 8th grade, 3 years prior to the series beginning. In the T.V. show it only takes place 1 year earlier.
- Jean Louisa Kelly was originally cast as Ella, but before the pilot was replaced by Holly Marie Combs.
- Mona's surname was going to be spelled Vanderwall for the show but was changed back to Vanderwaal.
