Play School (AU)

I remember watching "Singing in the Rain" for the first time when I was four or five. I wanted to do it all - sing, dance and act! I remember my little bones jumping, my heart racing and my mind was alive with possibilities of 'when I grow up'. So, it was no surprise I began to learn ballet when I was 6. I gave ten years of my life to dancing but I chose in the end to not pursue it professionally.

I studied for a B.A in Communication (Theatre/Media) at Charles Sturt University before going to NIDA. Then, I began my acting career three years ago with Play School, my first professional 'gig'. It was daunting finding myself with amazingly experienced actors, a script and the black bottomless eye of the camera staring at me.

Play School continues to be rewarding. I am allowed to be as much of a kid as the kid who is sitting in front of the television watching us. And when you find yourself making mistakes with your nursery rhymes, alphabet, numbers and 4 piece jigsaw puzzles, you can't help but think I'm not as grown up as I think I am.
