Summary: David Attenborough looks at the world's caves, including the Lechuguilla Cave in the USA which contains chambers filled with six-metre-long crystals. Inside Deer Cave in Borneo he finds five million bats, whose droppings support an entire ecosystem, and observes creatures in Texas and Thailand who never see daylight, leaving them with neither eyes nor colour.
