Person To Person
Person to Person ran from 1953 to 1961. Host Ed Murrow hosted it until 1959, interviewing celebrities in their homes. In the last two years of its run, the host was Charles Collingwood. It is generally agreed that this show pioneered the interviewing of celebrities on television and is thus the first true talk show. | ||||||||||
