Episode 08 - Real life Jockey Billy Pearson plays a jockey in this episode. He was also in an unsold pilot for Mason creator Erle Stanley Gardner's Cool & Lam series, playing pint-size detective Donald Lam. Lam was also played by Sinatra on radio and Art Carney in a lost TV episode of Climax.
Episode 16 - Goof (revealing mistake): At several points during Perry driving his car, there's no glass in the front windshield.
Episode 30 - Goof (revealing mistake): When the truck crashes into the car (off camera) there is a loud crashing sound, but the people walking on the street don't react to it.
Episode 16 - Goof (revealing mistake): Paul Drake buys a newspaper in the hotel lobby and sits down to read it. But when he holds it up, it is plainly a single sheet of large paper with a banner headline on one side and is blank on the other.
Episode 22 - Goof (continuity error): The murder victim is shown lying face up with an obvious bullet hole in his shirt front. Dr. Hoxie later testifies that the murder victim was shot in the head and nowhere else.
