Season 1 Trivia

  • Episode 06 - The number 23 is painted on a rock outside the school building. This is the number on Nathan's jersey, showing exactly how big a deal he is in the school, at least until Lucas joined the team.
  • Episode 22 - Goof (continuity error): When the Ravens are in a huddle at the start of the game, and Lucas says 'lets win this one for Whitey', Nathan in stood behind/next to him. But in the previous shot, which is a bird's eye shot, Nathan is stood next to Dan - which is not beside Lucas.
  • Episode 01 - Goof (crew or equipment visible): At 15:02 on the left hand side of the screen when Lucas and Peyton are talking for the first time, a crew members arm and leg are visible.
  • Episode 01 - Sophia Bush receives credit but does not appear in this episode.
  • Episode 11 - The House to which Brooke takes Lucas when they are making out in the hot tub is the same house lived in by Haley, Nathan and Jamie in Seasons 5 and 6.
