Summary: As the state championship game approaches, Whitey prepares to coach the final game of his career while the team deals with the pressure of the once-in-a-lifetime game. Peyton finally admits to Lucas that she loves him, but Lucas is unable to repond right away. Meanwhile, Karen dishes out some tough love to Deb in order to help her deal with her addition; Haley learns the sex of her and Nathan's baby; Dan strikes a deal with Daunte; and Nathan and Lucas clash over the team and their own personal goals. However, everyone's emotions following the game are overshadowed when both Haley and Lucas are rushed to the hospital following a devistating accident.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

: {Some You Give Away (#4.9)}
GEOG: When Deb wakes up in the rehab center, the nurse has turned on Tree Hill's Championship game, but the game actually on TV is an Iowa State Cyclones Basketball game. The logos on the floor are completely different.
GEOG: Tree Hill is in the state championship game and they are playing the game at North Carolina State Wolfpack basketball arena. Then in one cut scene, the basketball arena shows, but its not NC State's, it is the Iowa State Cyclones arena.
FACT: At the end of the episode 409, Some You Give Away, the paramedics are doing CPR on Lucus. The paramedic is doing compressions on Lucus's abdomen, instead of his chest to keep his heart pumping.
CONT: In the café, Rachel hands Haley her purse, but when Nathan and Haley walk out of the café, Haley has no purse with her.

TRIVIA

In this episode, Paul Johansson (Dan) hurt his hand when he shot the scene where Dan punches the road after Daunte runs over Haley.
