Summary: Brooke's new neighbor, who Peyton quickly dubs "Brooke in pants", is quick to make an impression in Tree Hill. Though he and Brooke get off to a bad start, he comes to Brooke's aid when she is caught shoplifting. Meanwhile, Nathan and Haley have their first post-marital fight when Nathan buys her an expensive keyboard instead of a car. Elsewhere, Lucas and Dan begin to make strides in their relationship, but they quickly lose the ground they gained when Dan reverts back to his old ways.
