Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (continuity error): After noticing the carpet is dirty, Victor goes to the kitchen and makes a carpet cleaning solution in a glass of water. While he has it for most of the scene, the contents of the glass is white and cloudy. but when he goes to the door to greet the Oxfam lady, the contents of the glass is clear water. After Margaret sees to her friend, she goes to see if Victor has given the Oxfam lady the box of items, and the glass is once again full of cloudy white liquid for the remainder of the scene.

Trivia

  • The episode's name is a reference to the Sherlock Holmes story 'The Adventure of the Speckled Band' by Arthur Conan Doyle.
