The storylines show that none of the main characters are all good. They struggle with moral decisions & sometimes choose the wrong path, but every decision leads to the drama of growth or in some cases personal or professional destruction.

- The footage of the Chinese parade (dragon, fireworks, drums) that's shown in the opening credits was used in the opening scenes of Year of the Dragon.
