Summary: The first thing noticed at the start of this episode is that several major characters are played by different actors, Billy Hazard and Stanley’s wife Isobel being the most obvious.Orry has been made a General and Charles a Captain in the Confederate Army, while George is a Colonel on Lincoln’s staff & Billy transfers to the sharpshooters. Billy gets his first taste of combat at Bull Run, unaware that Charles is on the other side at the same battle. George’s level head get his own cart of spectators to safety, but the war is now on in earnest.
