Summary: After graduating from West Point George and Orry are sent to Mexico to fight in the Mexican War. While there they run into an old enemy. Orry receives an injury that puts him out of the Army and George resigns his commission, but not before he meets Constance, the daughter of the Doctor who saved Orry’s leg.
