[show]Before production on the third season, Michael DeLorenzo and Malik Yoba staged a walkout of the show. They refused to return to work unless they received higher salaries and better accommodations. Production was shut down for a few days. Executive producer Dick Wolf threatened to fire the two stars and wrote a script in which their characters are killed. DeLorezno and Yoba returned to work but DeLorenzo left at the end of the season.
