Shame they canceled this show, I found both the story and the lead character interesting! |

Though final decisions have not been made, and there are a wealth of fans who are just dying to see Nicolaj Coster-Waldau’s New Amsterdam come back this fall, sources are saying that sadly, it isn’t looking good for a second season. |

A nice concept that is being revived recently in that longevity is viable if you consider that pollution is only recent phenomenon, or, we learn to manipulate the genetic code. The rest though is standard US TV. |

He's a homicide cop, but he's not like others you may have seen, he knows so much.why? He's immortal until he meets his femme fatale. Glimpses of his past make you want to know more. Combine this with a homicide investigation and you have a very dramatic, well scripted and acted show. Please follow the guidelines when posting your review. Quark - Moderator |

any idea why the first season is only 8 episodes long? is this like a 'beta' version of the show that Fox is trying out to see its viewership? |

Another mystery detective show. In "Dresden Files" we have wizard-detective. In "Moonlight" we have vampire-detective. And this show introduces immortal-detective. How about a show about a detective who is immortal vampire wizard and a cyborg? I'd watch that one fosho? |

Very good show. It is like a cross between Highlander and Forever Knight, without all the beheading and blood drinking. Well worth watching. |

I've only seen the pilot so far, but I'm already hooked. I especially like it, cause it makes you think about death and life. what makes life worth living? What if it weren't for death? The actual solving of crimes is just a side-benefit for me, cause I love crime shows. But this one can get you started on some serious discussions. I really recommend it! |

I found the first episode to be a solid, well written and rather clever pilot. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Also, the pilot is scheduled to air on March 4th. The 2nd episode will air on March 6th and the 3rd in it's regular time slot beginning March 10th. |

I thought this was starting up in the fall. Why are they waiting until January for this one? Trying to compete with 24 ?? |
