Ben opens a box of cereal and is pleased he gets the present in the box of Fruity Puffs. Nick, dressed as a gorilla, grabs it and says, "ooooh, Madam Hooch....I'll have that." Madam Hooch was played by Zoë Wanamaker in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
At the beginning of the episode Ben pulls a card out of a cereal box. Nick exclaims, "Ooh! Madam Hooch!" Zoe Wanamaker played Madam Hooch in the Harry Potter series.
After he is officially declared alive again, Ben can be heard singing a line from 'The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers', the theme song of Tigger from 'Winnie the Pooh'.
Diana Weston, who plays Charlie/Charlotte, was in a long-term relationship with Robert Lindsay (Ben), and the two have a daughter together, Sydney Stevenson. Stevenson has appeared in three episodes of 'My Family': 'Sixty Feet Under', as Claire, and 'The Second Greatest Story Ever Told' and 'Trust Never Sleeps' as Sophie.
