My Family: Season 3
(Oct. 13, 2009)

When Janey leaves for university, the burning question is not whether she'll be missed, but who will get custody of her room? The realisation that she's now the only woman in the Harper household begins to take its toll on Susan, and Michael fears his mum will turn him into a girl if she continues to ask him for advice on dresses and make-up. Ben's cousin's daughter, Abi, could be the ideal solution as she's looking for a place to stay while she attends college. Meanwhile, Nick's attempts to raise money result in a variety of jobs - none of which lasts very long thanks to abject incompetence, and Ben wonders whether he is the only sane member of the family, while the family wonder whether he has finally flipped.

My Family: Season 4
(Oct. 13, 2009)

Changes abound as the Harper family returns, putting the 'fun' in 'dysfunctional'. Susan is looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild, but dreading being a grandmother. Nick is getting fed up with living in his ghastly flat and trying to think of a way to move back into the family home. The gap between Michael's IQ and the rest of the family's seems to be increasing, but so is his libido. And Abi is still Abi, only more so! As for perennially put-upon Ben, what with a new arrival causing chaos in his surgery, being forced to take tango lessons and being officially declared dead, life is just one long major-league crisis.

My Family - Season 1
(Oct. 10, 2006)

Meet the Harpers: a modern, functional family... engaged in psychological warfare. Ben (Robert Lindsay), a dentist, and Susan (Zoe Wanamaker), the worst cook in the world, are certainly loving, caring parents; they just have a hard time showing it. Not that their kids make it easy: Nick has serious issues with the concept of work; Janey, like any other normal teenager, lives in her own soap opera life; and Michael likes to show up every once in a while with the odd pet rabbit. When Ben becomes paranoid that Susan and Janey are seeing another dentist, and Nick comes up with a harebrained scheme for dating girls, it may just be that Michael's rabbit is the sanest member of the household.

My Family - Season 2
(Oct. 10, 2006)

The Harpers are back, and their attempts at domestic bliss have hardly improved. Ben (Robert Lindsay) is still at a loss since his dental assistant quit, and is even entertaining the thought of hiring Nick. Home life hasn't helped ease his nerves: Susan (Zoe Wanamaker) suspects that she's pregnant, Janey wants to throw a house party, and Michael is upset that his father doesn't have a more interesting profession. Things seem to look up when a new client shows up and promises to send business to Ben's office, at least until a box of raw meat lands on the Harpers' doorstep in the dead of night.
