Teams of amateur detectives attempt to solve a real homicides. Hosted by veteran lawman Tommy Le Noir, civilians are put into an exact replica of the crime scene and every detail is added so that the teams will see exactly what the detectives saw. The teams are given 48 hours to conduct their investigation and catalog evidence. Each group must use their instinct and knowledge to solve the murder.
