• According to the DVD supplementals: Billy Joel was inspired to write a fun song while watching "Moonlighting"; the song he created was "Big Man on Mulberry Street". He then offered the song to the show's producers; this episode was specifically written to use the song as a song-and-dance dream sequence centerpiece.
