Summary: General Envir Qaisette plans to force the Archbishop of Povia to declare him regent after the recent death of the kingdom. The IMF must discredit him to make assure he never assumes power.

Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (continuity error): When Qaisette opens the folder containing the information about Jim Phelps, there are two pages in it, both with pictures of Jim on them. In a close-up, Qaisette chooses the paper with Jim's picture centered on it, but in the next shot, we see him holding the second paper with Jim's picture in the upper left hand corner.

Trivia

The title refers to an heir who, short of a fundamental change in the situation, cannot be displaced from inheriting.
