Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (continuity error): A spy throws a body through a ship's porthole into the sea. The body is wearing all black. There is a cut of the body falling into the water, but this body is wearing white trousers.
  • Goof (continuity error): After Rollin wins the climatic poker hand against Yorgi Petrosian and Victor Tomar, he places the emerald case in the breast pocket of his suit jacket. But in the next frame, as he is collecting the cash from the table, the emerald case can be observed amid the pile of money.
  • Goof (continuity error): During the initial team briefing, Phelps deals 6 cards and names them. Then, to show Cinnamom how it works, he deals a few more. Then, as Rollin is about to demonstrate how he switches cards, in a long shot there are only 6 dealt cards on the table.
  • Goof (continuity error): When Rollin is demonstrating his sleeve card dealer to the team, he takes cards from his sleeve, and the top card is clearly the two of clubs, but when he lays out all the cards, he shows all 4 aces, and the 4 of spades.
  • Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): One player says he is raising "500 dollars" but he puts five $1,000 bills on the pile.

Trivia

  • This episode uses the same opening sequence of Phelps driving in close-up, then getting his assignment in a photo booth as the episode "Operation Heart".
  • In the casino scene, Michael Strong is reading a French-language newspaper. The headline reads "Mais Oui, On Peut Manger du Cheval". The English translation is, "Of course you can eat horse".
