Director Bryan True-May clearly loves the Thames Valley, fading gentry, life style to be found around Henley/Cookham district, and makes a reasonable job of conjuring up stories of jealousies and avarice. Good camera work, good scripts, and good acting, Nice, too, to see Nettles is taking care of his health. |

Beautifully made detective series. Only complaint would be that sometimes there isn't quiote enough to fill allocated time slot. |
