Dr. Bruce Kellerman(William Fichtner) and Dr. Robert Dalgety(John Hannah), head of cardio thoracic surgery, are two surgeons working together in a mega-sized, mega-frugal, aging HMO. The doctors use unethical methods to treat patients in such a low budgeted hospital, while the hospital avoids treating patients with high risks law suit involvements.
