MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When Hawkeye offers to put objects into Maj. Houlihan's Time Capsule, one of the objects is Radar's Teddy Bear. However, the Teddy Bear he offers is not the original one. Gary Burghoff took the original Teddy Bear with him when he left the show. It was auctioned off for $11,900 in 2005.

TRIVIA

Although "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" was the final episode that aired, the episode "As Time Goes By", which was the second last episode that aired, was in fact the final episode filmed. Because the ranch set had been destroyed by a brush fire, "As Time Goes By" was filmed completely on the indoor sound stage set.
When the last scene was finished a cheer went up from the cast and crew and the news media that witnessed the end of the series.
The episode's title is also the title of the song from Casablanca (1942).
When Hawkeye offers Radar's teddy bear for the time capsule, it is a different stuffed animal than what was used throughout the series.
