Malibu U was the name of a short-lived American variety TV series that aired in the summer of 1967. Ricky Nelson played the dean at a fictional college called Malibu U, where the biggest names in 1960s music performed their latest hits. The show lasted for only 7 episodes, today it is perhaps best known for airing Leonard Nimoy's performance of the novelty song "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins."
