  • Episode 14 - The title is from the song Try to Remember from the musical comedy The Fantasticks written by Tom Jones and Harvey Schimdt originally sung by Jerry Orbach.
  • Episode 01 - Goof (plot holes): While in the police station with the two officers, Magnum phones Higgins, who tells Magnum that Billy Joe has stolen Magnum's Ferrari and escaped the estate. Magnum doesn't tell the officers about the Ferrari; only that Billy Joe is probably on his way to the villain's base. Yet one
  • Episode 14 - Magnum is introduced to both Lt. Tanaka and Doc Ibold for the first time in the series.
  • Episode 18 - Per the title double jeopardy is the unlawful attempt to try someone for the same crime twice after having been acquitted or the second round in the American game show Jeopardy!
