  • Episode 03 - Louie's story about his background is based on Louis C.K.'s real life. His father is a Mexican native. He lived in Mexico City and spoke only Spanish until his family moved to the United States when he was a child. He does not speak Spanish as well as he used to but has a compet
  • Episode 04 - 'Louis C.K' originally intended for Parker Posey to play his therapist. But after meeting with Posey, he wrote a different character specifically for her.
  • Episode 03 - When Louie calls out to the women in Spanish, he is mispronouncing the phrase "Tu con curvas y yo sin frenos!" which means "You with curves and me without brakes!"
  • Episode 06 - The voices of the radio show crew are provided by Gregg Hughes, Anthony Cumia, and Jim Norton. Louis C.K. is a frequent guest on the "Opie & Anthony" radio show of which Hughes, Cumia, and Norton are the hosts.
  • Episode 05 - In the scene on the rooftop, Parker Posey wanted to stand on the ledge. A airbag was on the street in case she fell. But C.K. dissuaded her from standing on the ledge.
