Summary: In 1977, Roger, Ben's father, begins to suspect Kate in Ben's disappearance. Miles is tasked with taking a body from the construction site of the Swan Station, to his father, Dr. Chang. In flashbacks, Miles learns of his ability to speak with the dead and is hired to travel to the island on the freighter.

It all could've been avoided if they just, you know, communicated. And let's face it, the Ewoks sucked, dude.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

DATE: When Jack is talking to Ben's father in the classroom in 1977, there is a periodic table on the wall behind them. The chart contains man-made elements that were not synthesized until 2000.
DATE: When Kate is drinking a beer with Ben's dad in 1977 the cans don't have the old-style removable ring pulls - they have the modern open and fold type.
FACT: Hurley claims that Luke overreacted when he found out Darth Vader was his father and got his hand chopped off. If he had really seen "The Empire Strikes Back" 200 times he would know that it is only after Vader cuts off Luke's hand does he reveal that he is his father.
