MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When Ben falls from the stairs in the orchid and cuts his arm his crowbar falls down next to the wall. In the next shot the crowbar lies in front of him.
CONT: When Desmond is pulled from the water onto the lifeboat after the helicopter crashes, he is barefoot. However, when he climbs onto Penny's boat a few scenes later, he is wearing sneakers.
CONT: When Jack walks into the Hoffs/Drawlar Funeral Parlour in There's No Place Like Home, Part 3, we see the coffin from behind. Here the Body Release Form is on the smaller section of the coffin. Then we see the coffin from Jack's point of view. The Body Release Form is now on the larger section of the coffin. We then see it from behind again, when Jack is walking towards it. The form is now again on the smaller section of the coffin.
CONT: After Keemey dies, the heart rate monitor on his left arm sends a signal to the transmitter on the boat, which is connected to the huge amount of C4. Upon receiving the signal, the green light on the transmitter turns off, and a red light turns on. Right before Michael begins to spray the rest of the liquid nitrogen on the transmitter, however, you can briefly see that the green light is on and the red one is off.
CONT: When Jack walks into the Funeral Parlour, we see the coffin from behind. Here the Body Release Form is on the smaller section of the coffin. Then we see the coffin from Jack's point of view. The Body Release Form is now on the larger section of the coffin. We then see it from behind again, when Jack is walking towards it. The form is now again on the smaller section of the coffin.

TRIVIA

The voice in the phone call Kate receives is played backwards. When reversed it can be clearly heard to say: "The island beach, we have to go back before it's too late".
SPOILER: To avoid spoilers leaking for the season 4 finale, three endings were filmed, with only one ever going to be used. The other two endings had Sawyer and Desmond being the person in the coffin.
