MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: Kate is heavily sedated by a grenade; but there is no such thing as grenades capable of incapacitating people or make them fall asleep.
FAIR: The black smoke monster (or island monster) tries to get at Kate and Juliet but is unable to do so, during their second encounter where they stand behind the sonic fence that kills everyone who crosses it. However, John, Sayid, Kate and Danielle are all able to climb over the fence unharmed. The monster, being a flying creature, should therefore be able to do the same thing as well, move over it. However, this assumes that the monster fly as high as it wishes. The precise capabilities of the monster are unknown, and in fact the monster is never shown flying more than a few feet above the ground, well within the area of effect of the sonic fence.
CREW: When Juliet and Kate are hiding from the "Black Smoke," there is a little part where you see (from the monster's point-of-view) a man in a red T-shirt visible on the very left side of the screen.
CONT: When Kate and Juliet land face-first in the mud, their clothes are already matted with mud on both sides (presumably from previous takes).

TRIVIA

'The Others' have very similar taste in games to one Mr. John Locke. You can see the game 'Mouse Trap' in the game room. Mouse Trap was of extreme symbolic importance in the episode Deus Ex Machina in which John's description of the game to a young lad turned out to be a dissertation on the fraud that was about to befall him at the hands of his father, Anthony Cooper.
The societal allegory book 'Watership Down' makes at least its second appearance on LOST in Sawyer's hands.
When Juliet punched in the code to activate the monster fence, the code utilized part of LOST's mystical number sequence: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, 16, and 23. You can see her enter 16 and 23.
When Kate gets to the garage, the lady doing the con is Sawyer's ex-girlfriend that he conned, and who had his baby.
