  • Episode 08 - Goof (continuity error): When getting ready to go to Nellie's party, Laura remembers back to an incident, namely from "Little House on the Prairie" (1974) {The Rivals (#4.14)} and makes two mistakes: she says the boy she had a crush on was named Jeremy Dobbs, when in fact his name was Jimmy Hill. Sec
  • Episode 15 - There are two pictures hanging on the wall of the publishers office. The one on the right is Laura Ingalls Wilder. The other may possibly be her sister Carrie.
  • Episode 18 - Almanzo and Laura Wilder's real son was born on August 12 and died on August 24. Just like on the show, he died unnamed. The real baby is buried in the De Smet, South Dakota cemetery, under the name 'Boy' Wilder, by Charles and Caroline Ingalls.
  • Episode 02 - Goof (factual errors): This episode is set in/around 1887. The real Royal Wilder passed away in 1925.
  • Episode 01 - On the poster given to Laura signed by all the students, Jonathan Gilbert (Willie) signed his real name at the top.
