  • Episode 18 - Leslie Landon, Michael Landon's daughter, is seen as a sick girl in the church in this episode. She will perform in several future episodes as well.
  • Episode 01 - In an episode in the final season, Charles and Caroline are coming home to visit Laura and Almonzo and Charles reminds character of the tree he fell out of.
  • Episode 01 - In one scene, while the girls are running down the hill. This time, Carrie's bloomers fell to her knees and tripped, the crew continued filming.
  • Episode 11 - Goof (continuity error): The bell that is made and installed in the church by Tinker Jones in the episode "The Voice of Tinker Jones" is missing from all town scenes in the future 2-part episode "The Lord is My Shepherd".
  • Episode 16 - The excessive crying by the men and everyone also led the high school boys of the day to nickname the show "Little Soap on the Prairie" since the next day many girls would excitedly recap the most recent Monday night airing, especially during the Laura/Almanzo on again/off again season.
