Summary: Crime hits home after Ray and Chris are shot by a gang member. When the shooter is found dead near a bar, Sam becomes the lead suspect since he has been working undercover as part of the gang. With evidence mounting against him, Sam must search for the real killer before it's too late for him.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

DATE: "Death Wish" is mentioned as coming out last month It's obviously still the end of winter in 1974. "Death Wish" didn't come out until July, 1974.
DATE: FBI Agent Franklin Morgan mentions his crush on Angie Dickinson in the TV show Police Woman, but Life on Mars is set in 1973, and Police Woman first aired in September, 1974.
DATE: An FBI agent makes a reference to loving Angie Dickinson on "Police Woman." We know the episode takes place in October 1973 because there is a reference to Spiro Agnew's resignation as vice president. But "Police Woman" did not premier until September 1974 - almost a year later.
