Goof (revealing mistake): While watching Pierson's press conference on the CNN website, it's very obvious the web page is local mock-up instead of being from CNN.com. This is visible in the address bar of the browser.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When introducing the characters on the rooftop, Hardison's name came up as Alex. *** Comment: No, it's not. Not in the version that officially aired on TNT. ***
Goof (factual errors): When Parker cuts a hole in the glass, she only cuts through a single layer. That exterior window would be a double-pane for insulation, so she would have to cut through two layers of glass. Also, the hydrofluoric acid she used would have produced toxic vapors that could have hurt her badly but she completely ignored them.
Goof (factual errors): When the Meth dealers hang up on the son, there is a blank dial tone - but there is no dial tone for cell phones.
Goof (continuity error): When the judge is holding Michael at gunpoint, the angle of his gun changes drastically between shots.
Goof (revealing mistake): When Parker is unscrewing the cover on the chute, in the shot just after Hall and Oates are mentioned, you can see the screw backing out but it's rotating clockwise - either a left handed thread (unlikely) so more likely the shot is reverse.
Goof (revealing mistake): In the wedding dance scene, multi-color actor's tape marks are clearly visible on the floor.
Goof (continuity error): The team is clearly braking into GenoGrow at night, and the flight they are to catch leaves "in an hour" - yet it is clearly daytime when they arrive at the airport - an hour is not enough time to go from full night to full day
Goof (factual errors): Eliot pretends to be a Federal Air Marshal, but is sitting in Coach. FAMs always sit in First Class. Their mission is to prevent any threats to the cockpit, which can only effectively be accomplished from First Class. Other LEOs permitted to fly armed will sit anywhere on the place except for those with a detainee. LEOs on escort duty of a detainee always sit in the very rear of the plane, again to keep any potential threats away from the cockpit and because they sometimes will load from the tarmac.
Goof (continuity error): After the fight scene in the airplane bathroom the knife next to the sink disappears. When Eliot and Nathan go back to try and wake him up the knife has returned.
Goof (revealing mistake): As the team rushes out of GenoGrow toward the airport, several B-roll stock shots are used; first, a generic aerial helicopter shot flying over LA, then a medium distance view of an airport showing planes taxiing and lifting off- including a red and white TWA jet. TWA ceased to exist in 2001.
Goof (continuity error): When Randy is sitting next to Sophie on the couch opposite Randy's father, randy puts his hand on Sophie's knee. After the shot returns to Randy and Sophie from Randy's father, Randy is sitting much closer and his hand is no longer on her knee.
Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Eliot runs into the car driven by the two security guards, the passenger side door magically reopens. The two guys in the front seat both get out, you can see the passenger close his door and you hear the sound effect of two doors closing. Eliot and the two men start fighting. When the camera pans out, you see the passenger car door wide open.
Goof (continuity error): Earnshaw is in the warehouse viewing the courtroom on video. She says to her assistant, "who is that?" He asks, "do you mean the guy talking to Vargas' lawyer?" The goof is that Hardison, Vargas' lawyer isn't in the room yet. He and Nate walk into the courtroom later. It's noticeable because she really should want to know who's whispering with the plaintiff's lawyer.
Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): The mark Ms. Earnshaw (Lauren Holly), is purported to be a skilled chess player. However, in one scene she is seen moving a pawn diagonally, from one black square to another, without taking a piece, something pawns, by the rules, cannot do. However, Ms. Earnshaw demonstrates throughout the entire job that she never plays by the rules. Since she cheats in everything else, it's reasonable to assume that she cheats at chess.
Goof (revealing mistake): As Sophie and Parker are checking their phones, they are both shown wearing the same ID tag; it reads "Joanna Nadler, Docent".
Goof (errors in geography): This episode takes place in Nebraska, however, the GPS on Hodge's cell phone shows the target heading towards I-20 despite the fact that I-20 does not run through Nebraska nor any neighboring states.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Nathan is walking down the hall of the Pentagon, dressed as a Lt. General, several soldiers salute him. Superior officers aren't saluted indoors, except in very limited circumstances. He also should not have been wearing his beret indoors.
Goof (continuity error): When Hardison is typing the crawler, he types: 'Hunt for the Truth' with single quotes, but it comes over the air as "Hunt for the Truth" with double quotes.
Goof (continuity error): When Hardison is doing the magic trick at the end of the show he says Parker's Queen of Spades is the card and pulls up a seven of clubs. The scene cuts to Parker holding the Queen and when Hardison is shown again he is holding a ten of diamonds.
Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): Gina Bellman's character is buried under the name of Katherine, but the tombstone reads "Sophie Devereaux". During the burial scene, the stone did bear the name "Katherine Clive", the same name as on the "Sound of Music" placard in Episode #2.1, which is displayed in the background. The name change in the final scene may not be an error, but a deliberate action by the character, symbolizing the "death" of her alias.
Goof (revealing mistake): In the scene of the "geek battle" between Hardison (Aldis Hodge) and Chaos (Wil Wheaton), Chaos' computer doesn't have the battery plugged or any source of alimentation. That HP model, has a battery that exceeds the size of the base of the computer.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): After Hardison 'removes' the serial number from the diamond, Kerrity examines the bottom of the diamond. The serial number was etched on the girdle (side), right where he was holding it.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Hardison describes the laser as UV (Ultraviolet), but the safety placard identifies it as CO2, which is infrared.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When the Russian thief drinks with a handcuffed Hardison, he says "Na zdorovie", when the correct phrase is actually "Za zdorovie". It's a pretty common mistake for non-native speakers.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Hardison, when presenting his hacks from the surveillance cameras in London, says, "Here you are standing in front of Big Ben", evidently referring to the clock tower. Big Ben is not the tower, nor the clock, but the bell, which makes the clock the largest four-faced chiming clock in the world (there is a larger four-faced clock in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but it was built without chimes so as not to upstage London).
Goof (revealing mistake): When Elliot, Parker and Hardison are speaking to Sophie, the greens screen image behind Sophie bobs up and down slightly even though the viewpoint camera isn't moving.
Goof (continuity error): When Tara is talking over camera to Sophie, the shots of Sophie keep changing between a single monitor screen and spread out over all six monitors. In the far shots, Sophie's face is split by the edges of the monitors, but in the closeup shots, her full face is in one single monitor.
Goof (revealing mistake): When Eliot is in the parking lot looking at Dalton's (Luke Perry) truck, the camera pans past the truck's license plate which is a Michigan plate. Michigan is one of several states that do not require a license plate on the front of the vehicle.
Goof (continuity error): Eliot's play (collision) at home does not take place in the same ballpark as the game. The background for this shot is not PGE Park, where you would see luxury boxes behind home plate.
