Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): The mark Ms. Earnshaw (Lauren Holly), is purported to be a skilled chess player. However, in one scene she is seen moving a pawn diagonally, from one black square to another, without taking a piece, something pawns, by the rules, cannot do. However, Ms. Earnshaw demonstrates throughout the entire job that she never plays by the rules. Since she cheats in everything else, it's reasonable to assume that she cheats at chess.
- Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Eliot runs into the car driven by the two security guards, the passenger side door magically reopens. The two guys in the front seat both get out, you can see the passenger close his door and you hear the sound effect of two doors closing. Eliot and the two men start fighting. When the camera pans out, you see the passenger car door wide open.
- Goof (continuity error): Earnshaw is in the warehouse viewing the courtroom on video. She says to her assistant, "who is that?" He asks, "do you mean the guy talking to Vargas' lawyer?" The goof is that Hardison, Vargas' lawyer isn't in the room yet. He and Nate walk into the courtroom later. It's noticeable because she really should want to know who's whispering with the plaintiff's lawyer.
