Episode 23 - Ron Rifkin, who portrays the character of Attorney Marvin Exley, portrayed another attorney, D.A. Ellis Loew in L.A. Confidential, which also featured a police officer character named Edmond Exley (Guy Pearce).
Episode 10 - Goof (factual errors): ADA Cabot questions Jake Stanton, then rests her case. Stanton's lawyer then begins redirect. Cabot could not have called Stanton as a witness against himself so this sequence of events is legally impossible.
Episode 23 - Reg E. Cathey plays a character named Barry Querns. In Oz he played a character named Martin Querns.
Episode 08 - Goof (continuity error): George produces a letter from Gia which is placed in an evidence bag. When Rollins shows it to Gia later it is no longer bagged.
