VictimsEpisode: 02x13 (Season 02 Episode #13) Originally Aired: Feb. 09, 2001 Plot: When former sex-crimes cop-turned-community activist Sam Winfield (guest star Eric Roberts, Oscar nominee for "Runaway Train") becomes a suspect in the murders of recently paroled rapists whom he has warned neighborhoods about, Detective Stabler (Christopher Meloni) is torn between upholding the law and identifying with Winfield's intent to protect the innocent from known sex offenders. As more is learned about the murder victims, it is discovered that the dead men have other dangerous details in common in addition to their criminal pasts which may have provided motive for their murders--and which may have horrifying implications for someone involved in the investigation. Mariska Hargitay, Dann Florek, Richard Belzer, Ice-T and Stephanie March also star. |
