A Single LifeEpisode: 01x02 (Season 01 Episode #02) Originally Aired: Sep. 27, 1999 Plot: Detectives Stabler and Benson investigate the murder of Gretchen Quinn, who really isn't a real person at all. The investigation leads to her psychiatrist and a television reporter who both slept with her, which finally led back to when Gretchen changed her name and identity after she graduated high school. The detectives found out she had the identity change to escape her sexually abusive father. Captain Cragen relates to this well due to the fact he has some ghosts of his own that he must escape. |
