Character Bio

Bradley Walsh plays Detective Superintendent Ronnie Brooks, the loveable police veteran with a humanist view— an Obi-Wan Kenobi-type character. He’s seen it all and done it all. A recovering alcoholic, Brooks has two ex-wives and two daughters and regards his partner Matt Devlin as a surrogate son. With a craving for sweets and a love of food, Brooks is constantly eating, and Walsh gained nearly 30 lbs. for the part.
