Summary: The neat forensics of a well-planned multiple murder of a city auditor and his family point Detectives Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) toward law enforcement personnel when they learn that the numbers-cruncher was investigating the illegal public employee practice of "double-dipping" -- or getting paid two salaries at once. Evidence points toward a handful of former cops, particularly a shady, ambitious safety officer (guest star Viola Randolph) with a need for big money to keep her kids in private school. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.
