Summary: Goren and Eames investigate the death of a museum curator and an art authenticator who are found dead in what was set up to look like a murder-suicide, where the detectives follow the clues and realise that both deaths are linked to the sale of numerous art forgeries. The investigation leads to a dead end when they are unable to locate the forger, that is until Goren seeks the help of another forger.
