Goof (continuity error): Whenever the exterior shot of the front of the Baxter house is shown, the ford f100 is seen outside the garage. But, in the very next scene, it's seen inside the garage.
Goof (revealing mistake): Right after Mike looses the crossbow bolt and it ricochets about the room, he hands Kyle the crossbow. The crossbow string is still locked in the firing position which it wouldn't be just after firing a bolt.
Goof (factual errors): When Mike is going through the loading sequence for the flintlock musket, he says, "Put the percussion cap on". A flintlock uses a flint to ignite powder in the flash pan which ignites the powder in the breech, causing the gun to fire. A percussion cap is not used for that type of firearm.
Goof (continuity error): Vanessa returns home with 3 cartons of milk, one green, one red, one blue. She takes the green and blue cartons out of the bag and sets them on the counter. She then takes out the red one, picks up the blue one, and turns to put both in the refrigerator; leaving the green one on the counter. In the next shot, she is putting the green one in the refrigerator and her daughter, Eve, picks up the redone from the counter. A few seconds later, Eve is shown sitting at the table with the green carton.
Goof (factual errors): When Mike is showing the revolver in his video, he incorrectly describes it as a single-shot Colt Peacemaker. The Colt Peacemaker was actually a six-shot, single-action revolver, meaning that the gun can only be fired after cocking the hammer, which also revolves the cylinder.
Goof (continuity error): While at the gift wrap counter, Kyle has a poorly wrapped package in front of him while he is talking to Eve for help. After the camera angle changes, the gift is unwrapped.
Goof (factual errors): When J. J. comes to turn in his badge, he states that his brother got him a job at a truck stop on I-10 in Amarillo. I-10 does not run through Amarillo, I-40 does.
Goof (continuity error): In the beginning when Mandy is in the stagecoach, she's wearing red lipstick. In the shot when she says "oh mercy, we're all going to die," the lipstick is gone. Then in the next shot of her, she has lipstick on.
