After King Kong tragic death, a young scientist Dr. Lorna cloned and took him back to Kong Island so he could be protected. 18 years later her grandson Jason and Tan bring their teacher Ramon to the island. But he planed to steal the island's Primal Stones. So now to restore balance to the island Jason, Tan, a shaman girl Lua and Kong must journey around the world to retrieve the stones.

Special Announcement
Kong: The Aninmated Series continues what happened after the movie King Kong. Kong had aired on BKN in 2000. In May 2001, Fox Kids began airing reruns of the first 13 episodes. Then, Jetix began airing reruns on September 9, 2005 as a prelude to the release of Peter Jackson's remake of King Kong. Also in 2005 a direct to DVD movie called Kong: King of Atlantis was released based on the series, followed by "Kong: Return to the Jungle" two years later.
