Season 9 Trivia

  • Episode 05 - According to his driver's license, Hank is 6' 2" and weighs 220 pounds.
  • Episode 07 - There are numerous real-life box sets of the Rocky films, but the one shown here, which features art of Rocky ascending the stairs, is a purely fictional design. No actual Rocky box set with that artwork exists.
  • Episode 10 - When Bobby indicates his desire to eat a corn chip straight off production from the factory, Lucky tells him it's a dream he'll help him run down. Tom Petty, who is the voice of Lucky, wrote a song called "Runnin' Down a Dream".
  • Episode 01 - Goof (plot holes): The Hills travel to Montana where Peggy attempts to make amends with her estranged rancher mother; in Season 2, Ep. 14 ("I Remember Mono"), Peggy & Hank attend the same school in Arlen and Peggy's Mother is clearly seen looking like Peggy. In "A River Runs Through It"
  • Episode 05 - Goof (factual errors): Hank's drivers license lists his weight as 220, but in actuality, Texas Drivers Licenses don't show the driver's weight. The DPS does keep the info in its database, but it isn't shown on the license.
