Season 12 Trivia

  • Episode 01 - Goof (anachronisms): Hank mentions the Peach Bowl as one of Texas' possible bowl games following the loss. The Peach Bowl changed its name in 2006 to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. Also, the Big 12 Conference does not have a contract with the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and has never sent a team to the game, which is played in At
  • Episode 01 - Goof (continuity error): Boomhauer is wearing a Texas Longhorns t-shirt en route to the stadium and outside the stadium before entering. Once he and the rest of the guys are seated, he is back to wearing his regular black t-shirt. He is back in the Texas t-shirt when he goes with Dale and Bill to the luxury suite.
  • Episode 01 - Goof (factual errors): Hank repeatedly tells Bobby the winner of the Big 12 Championship Game goes to the Rose Bowl. In fact, the winner would go to either the Fiesta Bowl or the BCS Championship Game (which, while it is played at the Rose Bowl stadium every four years, is a separate game).
  • Episode 01 - Goof (continuity error): Bobby acts as if he has never seen a football game before, but he has - for example, in "What Makes Bobby Run?", when he's the football team's mascot.
  • Episode 22 - Goof (anachronisms): At the time of this episode, Texas had neither a "three-strikes law" nor a DMV (an agency called the DMV was created later).
