Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (factual errors): Hank says that they are going to watch a tape of Super Bowl 13 and that it was between the Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys. The Broncos and Cowboys played in Super Bowl 12. Super Bowl 13 was between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers.
- Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Gordon says Canadians invented the Zamboni, but it was actually developed by the American inventor Frank Zamboni in California. This is a common Canadian imperception because the Zamboni is synonymous with their national sport of hockey.
- Goof (errors in geography): The French-Canadian woman Boomhauer hooked up with had a Parisian-French accent, not a Quebecois-French accent which is quite distinct.
- Goof (factual errors): Gordons says that Canadians invented penicillin but it's insulin that was discovered by the Canadian scientist Frederick Banting in 1920. Penicillin was discovered by Scottish scientist Alexander Fleming in 1928 but this mix up is never made by Canadians.
- Goof (factual errors): Super Bowl 13 was between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers, not the Cowboys and Denver Broncos. That was Super Bowl 12.
