Kindred-The Embraced , a series, based on the White Wolf role playing game, called Vampire-The Masquerade, involved the lives and loves of a vampire society based in San Fransisco. The leader of this society, hidden from prying humans, was Julian Luna, the vampire Prince of San Fransisco. He governed over the vampires that were grouped into clans.

- The show was canceled after just eight episodes when Mark Frankel (who played Julian Luna) died in a road accident.
- The paintings used in the series are originals by Jeff Kober (Daedalus).
- The series is loosely based on Vampire: The Masquerade, created by Mark Rein·Hagen, which was the first of White Wolf Game Studio's World of Darkness role-playing games.
