Summary: Forty kids, ages 8-15, attempt to create an operating town in 40 days without the help of adults in a former New Mexico ghost town. In the opener, the kids arrive in Bonanza City and begin their task.

Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (continuity error): When Mike the Town Council Member was "making up" with Greg after their confrontation at the breakfast meeting, Mike was wearing the red scarf and Greg walked out of the bunkhouse marked with the wooden initial B for blue. However, the red scarfs were not distributed until after the Town Council visited the church and the letter B was not hung until the groups had been broken up into districts.
