MISTAKES/GOOFS
- FACT: When defense witness Dr. Palermo is on the stand, Alden Tuller is clearly leading the witness, which cannot be done in direct examination. This especially makes no sense with an expert witness because the whole point of having an expert witness is to have him/her give an opinion and have it be recorded as fact for the jury not to have him/her agree with whatever the attorney says.
TRIVIA
- The title song is "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" which has been slightly edited for television, since the next line cannot be used on network television
- Intentionally or not, the case in this episode bears a striking resemblance to the one in the documentary "The Staircase."
- Majken Poulsen (Caitlin O'Neil) was billed as Candice and Isabelle Fuhrman (Grace O'Neil) was billed as Laurie in the end credits.
- The "American Crime" theme song is "The Rock" by Hans Zimmer.
- The original name of the series was American Crime, which FOX changed to Justice just prior to the 2006 upfront presentation.
