Episode Quotes

Aeden Bennett: If you're calling the cops, Dan, I don't care. Because I'm ready to die today, Dan, right here is your beautiful, perfect little house. I expect to be taken out by SWAT with a headshot and bleed on your sisal and haunt you and your family for the rest of your life!
Livia Beale: I die, you mourn, she comforts... you and Katie, you don't come together unless Livia and Dan come together first. She filled a vacuum I created.
Dan Vassar: So... you could say your mission was to get us together.
Livia Beale: I'm starting to wonder.
Young Aeden Bennett: I know that face.
Dan Vassar: What face?
Young Aeden Bennett: The face that my dad makes before he's gonna hit me. Am I right? You wanna hurt me.
Dan Vassar: Do you know why?
Young Aeden Bennett: Why?
Dan Vassar: Because when you grow up, you're gonna try to kill me. Maybe even hurt my family.

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (revealing mistake): The phone number listed on the 'Important Numbers' note in Dan's house (415-555-0177) does not match the phone number that appears on Katie's phone when Dan calls her later (415-555-6562)

Trivia

  • Dan mentions he "came down near the Circle Star". The Circle Star Theater was a performing arts venue in San Carlos, California (near the county seat of San Mateo County, Redwood City and south of San Francisco). Its name derives from the fact that it was a "theater in the round", featuring a rotating circular stage and there wasn't one bad seat in the house. The Circle Star was demolished in the mid-1990s to make way for some dot-com businesses, all of which are now defunct.
