John From Cincinnati- Show Reviews |

Clearly the publick was not ready for such a broad and unmasked uncensored view of themselves. I admit that the idea and the venue and the general setting had me hesitent about becoming a viewe but after the first exposur to the raw beauty of this exploration into the very real unreality of the lives portrayed; I was hooked./ Shame on the powers that be for the short sighted decision to kill yet another work of art before its time. |

too bad this didn't work. it was confusing to watch, but it had the essence of greatness, it just didn't quite make it. Shame, HBO is usually right on target. I really tried to like this show. and then it just disappeared. |

This show was really hit or miss. Wish it wasn't so nonsensical otherwise it would've been a great show. |

there is no way in hell that this kind of art can survive in america. it is a miracle it made it as far as it did. way too intelligent. way too subtle. way too beautiful. if the producers and writers that made this show happen ever read this, thank you for your art. |

Everyone who cares about this show should write to HBO and let them know how you feel about its cancellation. This is an incredibly acted and produced show - intriguing and thought-provoking. I am sick of reality shows ruling the air waves, and turning America into a mind numbing society. Let's help to give John another shot!!! |

Just heard today that the show has been cancelled. Apparently, there isn't going to be any kind of conclusion to the series. |

I feel compelled to watch this show. It is so interior, that it feels like a great risk was taken to make it. I feel the same risk watching it - is this a waste of time or a deep investment? my guess is we're in for a fabulous season finale no matter what. |

Great cast, excellent dialog in the same vein as Deadwood (with a little less - but not much - cussing. Looks to be the tale of gods sons return to earth without all the religous hubabalo. Yes, hubabalo is a real word. |

My favorite hbo show since six feet under. I love how hbo creates a unique genre for every show they put out. Great cast too. |

Mysterious, risky, challenging, well directed and acted. More TV should be like this. Deadwood wasn't a fluke. |
